There's a lot of snobby musicians that hate these games.

I'm actually a drum teacher.

Yes I've seen first hand that most people who are good at these games feel they could kick ass at the real thing.

They usually find out that the real thing is just a tiny little bit harder.

But for me the bottom line is that people are just playing music and having fun. I'm down with that. Music is for everybody.

You sir, are a fucking idiot. Harmonix (the makers of Rock band) made Guitar hero 1, 2, and rock the 80s. So yes they thought of it. Actavision made guitar hero three with a new developer just to beat some money out of a dead horse. And fuck everyone else rock band is adding optional cymbals.

My orange cymbol broke after two weeks of use, so I set it on fire (really), and got RB2 drums.

the drums are a piece of crap. I played for only a few days and the red trigger stopped working. So I took it back. A few days later, the red trigger broke again. Sent in a warranty claim, got the tuner. But it's still broken. And no I'm not pounding as hard as I can, I play normal. The stuff is made poorly.
