  • Once the Earl Carrol Theatre. Home of the stars. Then the Hullabaloo Club. Home of Rock and Roll. Today "Nickelodeon On Sunset," and has been the headquarters for Nickelodeon's West Coast live-action television production". Home of iCarly. And the Times They Are A Changing".

  • @soxfan1957 - Let's not forget its late 60's incarnation as the Aquarius Theatre. I saw "Hair" there!

  • I was hoping to see frantic go-go dancing inside - unfortunately, this is all just outside and nothing too swingin' is going on.

  • 1:20 Tom Cruise is a vampire!

  • does this place still exist?

  • Thank you for sharing this with us.

L.A. in the 1960's was a great city.

It is still great, but not as good as it was back then.

  • I've always wanted to see the revolving stage - they could set up three bands and turn the stage for each set - ya got any footage on that? Also, Humble Harv had an after hours club there that musicians would jam.

  • Louisa1832 - Oh, they insisted...but nobody listened. Come on, wouldn't it be just a tad boring if every generation adopted the cultural taste of the previous generation? We'd still be wearing loincloths and grunting.

  • Clamorous noise ... "Oh well, that's show biz" is the attitude that got us the vicious, ugly pop culture we have today. What a lazy, apathetic older generation, that refused to insist on standards.

  • There was a Hullabaloo on Irving Street here in Rahway,NJ .

  • As a child growing up in Hollywood, i remember this club called the Moulin Rouge in the '50 ... after '65 it became the Hullabaloo.

  • The Palace Guard!! A nice tract on Nuggets (Fallin sugar) was pretty good.
