This is JMC's newest song, not sure when it comes out on an album but hopefully soon? Anyways I just heard it about 3 days ago (live, on youtube) for the first time but really liked it, and I found a place where you can listen to the (full) real version online - http://musicremedy.com/j/Jason_Michael_Carroll/videos/Where_Im_From-28525.html It's not on itunes or anything yet. This song's actually written by a guy named Patrick Davis, check him out on youtube...he's got major talent as well!

Anyways it's a pretty catchy song, his singing style is very different in it, the "timing" of the lyrics (?) and his tone are hard to predict unless you've listened to it 10,000 times! (I listened to it about 5000 to get to the point where I felt I could put a cover up haha.)
