Get the ipod touch because u can use it as a phone too use a free textnow app! I have it on my ipod and i use it as a phone free, have my music pictures and internet and all my apps! and its cheeper!:) And if ur not allowed to have a phone because ur parents dont want to pay the bill get an ipod touch and the textnow app and it gives u a phone number and u get to text and talk for FREE!!!!! YAY! its a win win situatiuon! xD

yes. you can talk on the iPod touch. You can use skype. And if your worried about only being able to talk through wifi, Well, You can get a 4g mobile hotspot for around 30 bucks a month. Which is a hell of a lot cheaper than any smartphone data plan with talk, text, and web. You can keep your iPhone, Because when your contract is up and you want a newer better phone. All you really have left is an iPod anyways, since you can't make calls anymore.
