@WavemasterAshi I've seen it written with a hyphen and without. As a noun, it's usually non-hyphenated, as in "I bought guns on the black market", but as an adjective, it's usually hyphenated, "I bought black-market guns". This is according to my aunt who taught English for thirty years.

That's why I love Dick Clark's version of $(X)XX,000 Pyramid. She said the word and they gave it to her. The judges were so strict you basically had to have the exacty phrasing of the clue in the winner's circle during D.O.'s short stint that it made the show unbearable to watch.
