does anybody know what roaming is? I don't know anyone who uses internet abroad. You use it and You pay for it, it's pretty normal. I don't even call from cell phone abroad. Use VoIP phone over internet. I was in Egipt and paid 1$ for 2hours of talking. While through cellphone it would cost me about 250$. Read contracts which You sign.

I feel for you! However, didn't you know that they charge you extra if you go out of the country? That's why you should be it in "airplane" mode, and use your iPod Touch or lap top to call home.

Its the same for all phone networks. All roaming charges are crazy. always turn off international roaming.
