farragut is better acted than NewVoyages but Exeter has that classic startrek feel its been awhile since any of these have posted new episodes

Broughton's normal speaking voice is actually quite pleasant. If he could incorporate those more natural inflections into his performances, the episodes would be greatly improved. If he doesn't want to go for the larger-than-life style of Kirk/Picard/Janeway, then a laid-back natural tone is the way to go.

I think its a testament to the dedicated fans of startrek that shows like farragut can be made, i've never seen it in any other genre. this show is so brilliantly made im hoping that the people who own all the rights to the original will take note and stop trying to convince people its a tired concept. as for tranchera, you really should try to do something yourself before you get critical of others hard work, you may learn something.
