Keep the parrots in their cage. Make sure the dog is calm and submissive (lying or sitting, ears back, eyes on you) then bring the cage towards the dog. Introduce the dog slowly to the cage and the smells. Allow your dog to smell the scent and correct if your dog becomes excited/anxious. You need to keep him/her calm and submissive and realise that you are the leader. Monitor the dog carefully, and build up the meetings before letting the parrot out of the cage with the dog unattended.
