READ THIS FIRST.
This is my cover of Metallicas awesome song "One" from my favourite album of all time, And Justice For All. Reason enough to do a cover. Sorry but there is no solo because i'm not skilled enough to do it. And this time i won't tell you how i got those guitar sounds, only thing i tell is that i used a real mark IIc+ on the distortion. Keep asking on my other AJFA videos, but not here. This is my SUPER-SECRIT :)

  • What do you use to connect your guitar to your PC? I've been using an amp with a regular 3.5 mm out into my PC, but the quality sucks and it has a lot of static noise. Thanks.

  • @9MinamiKe6 i plug my guitar into the pc and use virtual amps. unfortunately, most of them have some noise, too.

  • @boggsty Thanks for the replies :) I'm thinking of getting an Edirol Usb Audio interface, will that do justice?

  • @9MinamiKe6 for sure :)

  • Grat job dude! especially in 3:54

  • @megahurtz30 lol on that, i'll try it :) but i quadtracked every rhythm guitar, and double-tracked every lead guitar part.

  • @boggsty hmm, i see. Here's a wild idea, use both things at the same time and mix them! The MkIIc+ and the impulse in one track/send and the amp sim and impulse on another, but both coming from the same guitar signal, then double track that, or triple or quad track... Just a wild idea... :))

  • @megahurtz30 yeah i know what you mean... i had a bit too much gain in here, but as i recognized it i was halfway through the recording and i didn't want to record all over again...

yeah i used the blackened impulse, too, but i modified it heavily to get it work with my mkIIc+ -.- pain in the ass i can tell you.
