God's Next Army investigates Patrick Henry College (PHC), set up five years ago in Virginia, near Washington DC. Its mission is to train young fundamentalist Christians to become the next generation of America's cultural and political leaders. Though the separation of church and state is enshrined [OK, it's only strongly implied - alexeykh] in the US Constitution, with financial backing from the evangelical community the college aims to 'rechristianise' America; to 'preserve the world from the sinfulness of man'...

  • This is an example of extreme child abuse! They use exactly the same system as Nord-Korea does (keeping people away from the outside world so that you can fill their heads with your ideas).

  • @189643478 child abuse? N. Korea? You want to compare this to a totalitarian state? Personally, I went to a much more restrictive school (a seminary actually in a more rural environment) & it's not abuse if you sign on for it (what's boot camp then?) + you'd be surprised with how much easier it is to learn if you don't have all the rot thrown at you all the time that the "world" has to offer & modern media. I do think the "contracts" are lame.

  • @alexeykh Thus the education of these children has failed completely. (sorry, the limit on the text length did not allow me to add this sentence to my earlier reply)

  • @189643478 Wow, you know a LOT about these kids from about a 5-10 min. window into about at most 5 of them; and, from this you can ascertain the effectiveness of education of about everyone that has ever studied here. Watch out that you don't ever run up against their legal, or poli-sci. students, or even those that have studied logic.

  • I'll have more comments of mine coming after I watch the rest of this, but I just have to ask: Why the hell is the narrator British??? "Conservative Christians in America"? It disturbs me that they had to specify which country... how about you keep your noses in your own country, Brits. We kicked your a**es in 1776 just for that reason, and we might do it again.

  • @SpclAgentPendergast It is about a right-wing Christian college near DC focused at effecting government. Politicized 'conservative' Christianity is a very unique development seen only in the US (especially the elements of Dominionism and 'Christian' Zionism).

  • It’s interesting to see how much stress is put on the next generation of leaders. In “ My Reincarnation”, a documentary I recently watched, the topic of spiritual leader is discussed in terms of those who are born as reincarnations. Yeshi, the main character has a difficult time accepting the future that has been chosen for him. Fox’s documentary shows a side of the Tibetan culture that has yet to be examined. I came across this review you should check out: trib . in/xatCph

  • What good little Godbots. Just don't start asking questions. It might burst the bubble you live in.

  • I don't see what the problem is, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this what every political movement does?

  • Highly disturbing

  • teaching kids religion is abuse in itself.

  • rival? elite?... I'd like to soo what they teach about Biology (if they do)... lmao...

  • you would think these people are on drugs

  • Ok...they are not preparing these people to be Christian activists. They are preparing them to be extreme right-wing conservative Republican Christian activists.

  • @ShockWave1911 It's true that it's pretty bad. Though ours is not good either. I wouldn't home school my kid though, unless the school was really dangerous. You need to learn how to cope with different people. It's character building.

  • @SpclAgentPendergast that is possibly the worst argument ever, its a C4 documentary, grow the hell up and you weren't even alive in 1776 and you probably have European ancestry
