EastEnders V Coronation Street

People often ask me whether I prefer EastEnders or Coronation Street, and I always struggle to answer. So I decided to make this video weighing up the pros and few cons of each...and reaching an answer proved problematic! Please feel free to leave comments etc.

Prefer Eastenders! Way more grittier and it makes for good tv in my opinion! :)

im like u 85-05 i know a lot but all ma faves left i still watch but itll never be the same i stopped watchin corrie from 2004 - 2007 but i love that now x

Eastenders depresses me sometimes lol I still love it though. Corrie is my favourite though. Lots of humor!

I've been brought up watching Corrie so it's pretty much like family and I cried about Jack and Vera. I really enjoy the humour of it and also I've shouted at the tv a few times because I tend to get very emotionally involved in fiction. Would you agree that there's a north/south divide regarding who are Eastenders or Coronation Street fans?

A lot of respect to conronation street as they are the eldest. But seriously EastEnders has been at the top of it's game the last couple of years... Corrie's very dumbed down in it's view of people slightly lol. and Corrie's cast members are stuck upish at EastEnders you could tell at the awards. have to say Lacey's strories are amazing and EastEnders focuses more on character driven plots alot more than corrie. however Eastenders lately is feeling very flat after this new year.

eastenders and hollyoaks all the way, corrie is really boring at the moment and i've completely lost track of emmerdale :| they ruined the aaron and jackson storyline, but yes eastenders is amazing, i look forward to it every night and im rooting for them on the BSA as well as hollyoaks.
