    Hightower was charged with aggravated stalking, terroristic threats and property damage in this case with his ex-girlfriend. He also pleaded guilty to third-degree assault in July for an unrelated assault in which he punched a man, knocking out his two front teeth.

    Looks like we have another innocent angel on our hands who has never done anything wrong.

    Sure,....he wasn't putting his arms behind his back, but he was also gagging on that pepper spray. If I were that cop, considering the sirens were within a couple of blocks, he was on the ground plus the cop had a taser,.....I would have just stood over him and waited for back-up. This way you stay safe, the suspect is safe, and no ones rights are being violated. It really is THAT SIMPLE. This cop needs to be charged with assault and fired.

    Thugs have rights, too. They are in fact the ones who need their rights the most.

    My 23-year-old daughter got thrown down to the ground when she got too close to a police scene and did not obey police commands.

    The problem? She is severely mentally handicapped and cannot speak. She on her best day has the intelligence level of a 3-year-old.

    Should she lose her "rights" because she is handicapped? No, and this guy, no matter how "thuggy" he is, deserves the same.
