How bout this - Open PhotoBooth. Click On The Video & Drag It Simply to iTunes Then From Itunes To iMovie. :))

There's an easier way unless you actually want to save the raw footage,
Record from photobooth
Drag straight into iphoto
Then simply drag again in to iMovie!
Great video btw I have it in a playlist called mac help till I got my mac!
