  • Very nice and useful tutorial!

But as you aim to "people that are new to sf", you should maybe add a caption at the beginning to explain how electricity works.

For those wondering, Blanka's electricity needs 5 consecutive punch inputs to be launched, and the last of those five inputs will set the strength of it. Of course, if two buttons are pressed at the same time as the last fifth input, the EX electricity comes out.

Thumbs up if you want that to become common knowledge.

  • Good vid mate and congrats on making it onto SRK's front page.

  • good video

  • Of all tutorials for some reason yours did the trick and I thank you for it.

    gg

  • awesome!

  • how about far standing jab xx electricity? The jab recovers to fast and doesn't let me cancel fast enough.

  • @ZeroSumJ1

yea i think its harder compare to honda's jab fierce HHS.

its gotta do with active frame. honda's jab and blanka cr.forward have more active frames then blanka jab and cr.jab. thats y its more ez to execute then blanka's jab fierce electricity.

  • is blanka's hp elec cancel from cr or st jab harder than the other multipress specials? i played honda for a while and i can cr. jab to hp hands 100% of the time, i can hit gen's st. forward to hp hands 100%, but blanka's jab to hp elec is like... 1in 20. if i get a crossup with forward, i can do cr forward to hp elec 100% of the time. but i wanna get jab to elec, and hop to elec for pressure and it's eluding me. freakin hands and wrist are sore from all the practicing.

  • good stuff man

  • Nice fingers, Toby.

  • @xtxoxpxd Practice. I used to do the piano motion randomly throughout the day (for weeks) to get my hand/fingers used to the motion. Then slowly started picking up speed and building upon my consistency.
