  • yeah is americana vibe is just THE national musical treasure of the last 1/4 century. he's really America's Khalil Gilbran.

  • I saw Bill do his Disfarmer Project live in L.A., and it was stunning. I recommend that anyone see him play live.

  • Does anybody know any other good americana musicians?

  • ...the pictures have a painfully heartbreaking, deeply emotional content that knotted my throat during the gig, I often felt there was too much to take in, at least for me. Greg Leisz alone was worth the whole ticket and the long travel to the gig. Bill's music, the other band members, the pictures... can't remember to have ever experienced anything as touching (as concerts go) in my whole life, although I've mixed 1.000 live concerts in my life. • this was out way before 2009. i saw him do the disfarmer project in burlington vermont in march of 2008,

  • I keep coming back to this clip - the photographs are as mesmerising as the music. I have the album, but you video really adds another dimension - fantastic! Thanks.

  • @talpajam What an incredible comment.

  • This is great!

Reminds me of Michael Brooks soundtrack for "Albino Alligator", so I'd recommend checking that CD out to fans of Bill.

  • @twangbarfly Sorry my international buddy! That would be West Virginia, a state in North America. Most people call us hillbillies due to the mountains and mountain ranges in that area. ;) They happen to be settlers from Ireland, and other people from the Isles, who brought the sounds of the mother land to the area. :) If you heard how I talked, you could hear the dialect at times. ;) (oh...less the southern accent from Texas)

  • @katkollmer What's WV?

  • @katkollmer You were probably giving it too much "juice" :-)

  • @twangbarfly Oh...yet, it is nice and mellow sorta country. Sounds like a modern version of the music many play in WV. Did I ever tell you my granddad played a "juice harp". He tried to show me how, interesting sound, and I busted my mouth/tongue on that metal band in the middle that vibrates. It hurt like HELL!
