Looks as if you were right after all, It's all american wrote but Japanese animated. Those animators must have been drunk

@Strogenforcer Season 1 was done entirely by Toei in Japan. For S2, they added Korean studio AKOM, who did the movie and most of season 3. But Japanese animation isn't inherently better any more than Japanese people are better at maths; AKOM now does The Simpsons. In interviews, directors and producers have admitted when TF took off, they were under a lot of pressure to churn eps out quickly, esp during S2/3 - they knew about the animat'n problems, but they didn't have the luxury of fixing them.
