19 July 2008 - Red Bull Air Race pilot Nigel Lamb (6th after Qualifying in Rotterdam):
"We are happier today than we were yesterday," said Lamb, who currently ranks ninth overall after the first three races of 2008. "I had the wrong control set up which was extremely uncomfortable and so I didn't learn anything yesterday. We have been playing with the way that the airplane rolls I came here thinking we had a good set up and I was wrong." Lamb and his team worked hard to reverse the changes made to the MXS and bring it back to its pre-modified state. "We basically have now gone backwards to a better but still unsatisfactory position. I am feeling much happier today though."

engine and pilot? well the engine and pilot sits in an airframe and a bigger engine and more speed will stress the aircrafts frame and it will end in disaster :p!

All they need is more power from Lycon like Kirby and Hannas..Red Bull is throwing money at their engines. The MX Aircraft are more agile, and light. I don't understand why put a title like this belittling the MX Aircraft when all the pilots know the MX is the best airplane period. It's just up to the engine and pilots. It's just a matter of time!
