*~ 3 little babies, given up for dead,
*~ by a uncaring breeder, who was not well read.
*~ If they were, they would have known, when 2 merle's breed, little ones aren't quite right,
*~ their ears & eyes too small, with limited hearing and sight.

*~ So they took them to the kill shelter, where their future looked grim,
*~ Too impaired to adopt out, so their chances were slim.

*~ The call went out, far and wide,
*~ by the nice folks at the shelter, who was on the pups side,
*~ Who can save these babies? They pleaded with cause,
*~ Then Rita & Toolie stepped up for the babes, from Life's Little Paws.

*~ With the help of others, we can get them safe,
*~ we can save these little ones, these sad little waifs.

*~ So their journey began, from state to state,
*~ a life saving trip, with a short stop to wait.
*~ and soon they will be traveling, to Toolie & Rita in Maine,
*~ where Life's Little Paws has arranged loving homes again.

*~ Rescue does not limit them by their deficits,
*~ They see their potential, their innocence & joy in being,
*~ Just happy to live, & to give us new meaning.

*~ Love comes in many forms, and unconditional is best,
*~ Puppies have all that and more,
*~ to heck with the rest.

*~ Thank you to all the volunteers, who helped make a difference in the lives of these three,
*~ who would have been euthanized, if it wasn't for thee.......

(Life's Little Paws has named these little ones after the "Brat Pack" Emilio, Anthony, & Rob)
