To the top comment above mine: Naruto was alone for his entire childhood, had no friends or family. His heritage was kept from him until he found out by himself, same for the Kyuubi. Both his godparents abandoned him in the village to go gallavanting around, only to return 12 years later. He was scorned, insulted and glared at by the majority of the village.

Yet he stayed on the right path, so yes Sasuke can be like 'ok let's go have a party' because Naruto had it worse than him!!

@Zogarth1337 Agreed, it would be MUCH better without him. Kakashi would pay more attention to Naruto and his team. Sakura and Ino would still be friends and actually trained. Pretty much everyone is better off without him being born. Heck even Itachi would not have the dilemna of leaving his 'foolish little brother' alive.
