Couldn't you if you didn't have access to a puller install the drive clutch kit on the machine..? Is it absolutely necessary to remove it..?

thanks
Yes you are correct it is a friction fit on the crankshaft you will need a puller to get the primary clutch off depending on the bike you may not need a puller to put the clutch kit in.

Hi there, I have a couple of questions if you would is the PCP-1 puller work also one a 99 Big Boss 500 6x6? And can you tell me what is the size of the pull bolt hole on the 99 Big Boss 500 6x6? Sorry one more question is the same procedure the same as in the Big Boss as it is in the Sportsman that you have the video on here? Thanks for any advise on this will be appreciated. Randy

Yes the PCP-1 will work on your machine and is used the same way. The PCP-1 will work on all Polaris ATVs except the 550/850 XP, RZR 800, RZR S and the RZR 900XP. All Polaris clutches come off the same way some just use a different a clutch puller. Thanks for your questions, if you have any more please feel freee to call us 218-829-6036.

Kawasaki is a good all around machine, and is a more popular model ATV. It would be best to check with your local dealer for what model you're looking for and have them help you choose the best fitting machine for your style of riding. Be sure they are willing to work with you down the road, and when you're ready for a clutch kit or driveline parts, EPI and our tech support is ready to help!

@van050494
Our best kit right now for that model is our Sport Utility kit, part number is WE391023. If you're looking for a Mudder kit, we may be able to modify an existing kit for you - call our tech support at 218-829-6036 and ask for Chad. Make sure to mention you posted this question on YouTube!
