She is Drunk & Drugged, sad.No talk then of Silencing her.She wasn't "passed" to Bobby yet.Her fury was Bobby w/Peter ending it that Sat.She was to go on TV in 2 days @ 'Bay of Pigs Invasion' to get even...But, Silenced.Bobby's plane got him out of CA fast; Bobby's Wife: Lawford's Sister.

@kalimaganeshshivan True...Marilyn's Hairdresser had left, & she had a Meltdown before getting the nerve to go On Stage. So, with Scotch now alongside her Legendary Piper Champagne, she got bold & Whitey, her Makeup Artist heard her ask for Jackie's Hairdresser, "I want to Look just like Jackie", laughing. Any Woman knowing about MM & their Man, then seeing her in THAT Dress with her Hairdo, was the Icing on Jackie's Cake!!! Any Woman would seethe. MM The Ultimate Woman!!!

@888888username , thats because throughout the whole program they would say "mr.president, marilyn monroe" and the spotlight would move across the stage & she wouldn't appear. It was a joke that she was in on, because she was always late to everything she did. And then at the end of the show when she finally came on stage, they said "the late marilyn monroe"..

Marilyn was such a tragic hero! Her lust for attention, for admiration and love was her downfall. She thought that Jack (president Kennedy) was going to leave his wife and marry her, that she'd be the first lady:'( She didn't realize that Jack did love Jackie, in his way.
I think the best description for Jack was in the Kennedy miniseries when Bobby asked why he kept having affairs and he said "I'm not a kid anymore, I just keep acting like it".
