The Forest

A journey through an autumn woodland, filmed in Perthshire, Scotland. This is also the location for the famous annual "Enchanted Forest" event, when they have a nighttime lightshow in the woods/water set to music.

My first go at shooting with a Canon 5D, Glidecam and Smooth Shooter, and actually the first time I've shot or edited any kind of video with a dslr. The Glidecam does take a lot of time and patience to get correctly balanced, but I think I just about got there and I'm quite pleased with the result for a first attempt. You do get some funny looks with the Smooth Shooter body vest on, though I guess that's not surprising when you're wandering around a forest dressed as Robocop :)
