Not if it's in the early stages, and there are plenty of other nasty things you can catch too.
Although I'll admit I would find it hard to resist, how can you not love a little guy like that? :)

That guy had ZERO rabies... super sweet, but wild, not a pet. The park he lived in was full of friendly people to feed him and make friends.

I shot this in 1997 in Mont Royal Park in Montreal. There are myriads of tame animals there: pigeons, squirrels, chipmunks, and one very friendly woodchuck.
