Oh yeah, thats def Detroit. I saw the blvd. Jefferson, cooley high...even though I went to Redford. Brings back memories of when my mother would make my sister take me out on the weekends and she would ALWAYS take me to the Detroit Public Library on Woodward. Its kindof a sad place now. Im in Ny now, but I lived there all my life until 03. This song takes me back there, in the 80's for sure.

It is real sad,Redford & Mackenzie High Schools are now closed with 63 more to close by the end of the 2009 school year. They converted Northern High to an all girls academy and renamed it "International Detroit Academy". They converted Murray-Wright High to an all boys school and renamed it "Fredrick Douglas High".

    Great memories of the D.

....lived there back & forth all my life......two years at Henry Ford...class of 87..
