Renting hurts Nintendo's sales because one Game is play by an infinite number of people. instead of them buying it besides chances of the Game disk being scratch and unplayable are too high. since no one checks them.....!

Apparently, the east coast or some where near it had been renting games out in March. Freaking A, but better late than never.
