Karl dean is showing that he is not going to make promises that he may or may not be able to keep. He also shows that he doesn't have to use attacks and mud slinging to win. Very honorable.

What a pity that Bob didn't take the high road during this campaign and, instead resorted to scare tactics and twisting his opponent's word to suit his needs. Makes one wonder if we can be certain that he will take the high road as mayor. It is irresponsible to tell voters "read my lips - no new taxes." Seems we've heard that before.
