Classic Game Room was the FIRST classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999. Returning in 2008 with new episodes, Classic Game Room breaks out a review of TEST DRIVE: LE MANS for the Sega Dreamcast video game console. The little DC may never get the respect that it deserves, but Sega's last foray into the video game system hardware competition yielded some amazing games. Gamers around the world know the date 9-9-99 because... well, it's a secret. You got to be in the know to get it! SEGA! This is the first Dreamcast game that CGR has reviewed since 2000. Test Drive Le Mans is an auto racing game that was released in November of 2000, right about the same time that the Playstation 2 PS2 was released in North America. This driving game is tons of fun and allows you to race a variety of cars on famous tracks around the world like Suzuka and Bugatti. Is it as good as Forza 2 and Gran Turismo 5? You can race throughout the night in heated competition against 23 other competitors in their souped up high end race cars. This is more of a good arcade racer more than it is a driving simulator, but the handling, graphics and sound are still good. Especially considering that it came out in 2000 even before Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec. The gameplay is rock solid and the footage should show that off. You can play 2-player against a friend in cars from Audi, Nissan, Toyota and more. Classic Game Room was the original classic video game review show on the Internet in 1999-2000, now on DVD. The reviews on the HD series are reviewing PS3, PS2, Genesis, NES, Atari and Xbox 360. XBLA. videos review reviews show wii trailer ps2 ps3 xbox 360 wii remake upcoming

  • DREAMCAST...still one of the greatest systems ever made

  • i have the ps2 version of this game it is the same as the dreamcast version

  • it be nice if they could make a PS2 and a dreamcast into one system maybe callin it the Dreamstation :D

  • my fav 3 racing game series

    3 Midnight club

    2 Test drive

    1 Need for speed

  • I too love the latest Forzas and Gran Turismos on my next-gens,

but I always come back to Test Drive LeMans on the Dreamcast.

It's one solid racer. They did everything right, from the feel to the look of the game.

    Thank you Bruno Bonnell.

  • i must has a special dreamcast then. mine is real quiet. it has a 0 for revision 0 on the bottom though and has the heat pipes. guess they changes a few things between versions.

  • i picked this up the other day for $1... great game

  • @colonforsecs That tends to be the case for most systems. If you look at early PS3 games you see the same trend. I do agree that it was a shame that the dremcast got nixed. This game, albeit being one of the better looking ones, looks better than a lot of early xbox and ps2 games, and still better than a lot of wii games.

Is what the dc le mans developers, Melbourne House, made on the ps2 that they themselves said in an interview said could not be accomplished on any other console.
