Stock Motor 1000 in the 1/4 mile BEST TIME

I ran my Best Ever time tonight at Rockingham dragway. Stock 2001 GSXR 1000 motor with BST wheels and some other normal mods

@N22XMed There is NO NITROUS on this bike. At the time of the video this bike was a completely stock motor, cases had never been split and valve cover was never off. No aftermarket cams, head, or any other internal motor mods. Bike had an exhaust, light weight tires and wheels, single rotor up front, air shifter, power commander, sprockets, and a swingarm. It wasn't until a year or two later that I installed head and cams and it's faster than an 8.80. I have lots of seat time and weigh 130.

Do you guys not hear that popping sound,the bike is probaly stock,i believe him..He did not say he wasnt sprayin but that poppin sound is nitrous..Nice ridin cuz...

Alot of people think that the popping is nitrous but it's just my airshifter. I have the kill time turned all the way down but it still pops. No nitrous on this bike but the one I'm building will have it.

i had a 01 gsxr1000, dual degreed exhaust cams, short velosity stacks, two down in the front, milled head, 750 valve springs, je pistons (stock bore replacements) 5 1/2 over on the stretch, lowered and strapped, bike made jus under 160hp.

i weighed between 188-190lbs. my sixty foots were 1.45-46 consistantly. my bike ran 9.54 @ 141mph. how the hell are you guys getn 150+mph out of a stock gsxr1000. the only time i seen those kinda numbers in the mph, is when the bikes were being sprayed!!

i had a 1000 set up the exact same way, 100 percent stock motor foot shifting and went 8.64 at 154. so i dont think hes spraying it. i was 6 inches over and lowered a little bit. i had a 1.45 60ft as well. so his times are very reasonable

dont see why everybody thinks your spraying that thing. I have a zx10r I trap almost the same MPH with stock wheel base and I weigh 180lbs. Nice pass man

Ive seen this in person, not your bike, but have seen other 1000's run 9 flat. They all had 6" extension and banging all 6 through the quarter.

What size sprocket you running on front and back?

Also your 60' and 330' look to be pretty quick too.

@rottepung666 yeah, but your REACTION TIME has no affect on your ELAPSED TIME. Ur telling me, that say normally I run 9.5s, but this time my reaction time is a .5 instead of a perfect .00 light, that my time slip will say that I ran a 10.00? instead of the 9.5? that i normally run? You have lost your marbles, and I think we are debating 2 totally diff. things here. And w/ your example ur reaction time wouldn't be the thing that slowed your ET down. it would have been cause of something else

@N22XMed we are both right.. in physics this will not affect the ET but when you race against the clock you can say it affects the ET time..if your last over the line you have lost the race period.. so you can have a good ET lets say 9.5 or you can fuck up because your to slow out of the box and have a ET 10.5 sec.. so there it affected the ET time.. but this is europe this is how we race here.. first over the line and fastest reaction= VICTORY
