Folks, use Flood Pentrol from Home Depot or the like & NOT a torch. Just wipe it in, with a lint free rag, and it'll make the fender flares look like new again (wash the flares 1st before applying the Pentrol). It won't harm the paint like a torch will and it lasts for about over a year...reapply at that time and all is well again. No accidental melting a hole or destroying a part of a flare "by accident". ~Good video presentation though.

@viggoM35 oops typos "tape" and "you DON'T mess up the paint. L☺L

Just wet sand it with a 1500-2000 grit. It will take off the old dried out oxidized top layer. But tap it off first or remove the bumper. So that you mess up the paint. You can also polish is rubbing compound or plastic polish. Use a cordless drill and a buffing or polishing wheel. Same thing works well on your plastic head light lenses that fade from the sun.

Won't be able to show you it up close, The Wrangler got traded in and racked in $13,500 for the 2012 Grand Cherokee..
I can show you that though!

@mxkid49
not if you're careful, and don't heat one spot for too long, it will be fine.

You talking about the top of the fender? Look at any YJ Wrangler, that's rippling from from where the factory rolls the fender wells, it's on every YJ. ....and it was there at the beginning of the video before I even heated that area.
If you're talking about the grey area in the paint behind the fender, that's the reflection of the fender in the paint...
The Jeep's gone now though, paint was in such good condition infact the dealer gave $13,500 for it on a trade in for a new one.
