  • Year of Japan in Turkey? wHAT?

  • @chufuss Yes, check descriptions for details. The most eastern and western country in Asia have more in common then people might think. Turkish and Japanese for example belong to the same language family, but there are also cultural similarities. The aim of the Year of Japan is to inform the people about this great nation and their customs which some might come very familiar to Turks. Turkey aims to be like Japan before 2023, entering the top 10 biggest economies of the world (it is now 15th).
