I have been nominated for TWO LA Music Awards this year:
Best RockSingle (Eight Lovers and a One Night Stand) and
Best Rock Album of the year!

I cannot tell you just how honored and excited I am to be nominated at this amazing event, which is now in it's 20th year. Past winners and nominees have included some of my favorite artists, such as No Doubt, Sugar Ray, and the Black Eyed Peas.

Many of you know that this moment has really been 10 yrs in the making, with many a peak and valley, laughter and tears in this fair city.So it would really mean so much to me to win and also for all the people that have supported me through the years.

You are invited to celebrate my nominations and to help me win. Join me at one of my favorite haunts - the legendary Whisky A Go Go - on Thursday, October 7th at 10pm for the L.A. Music Awards Voting Party! It is $15 to
get in and recieve a ballot to vote.

We thought it would be fun to do a contest for kicks !

The winner of this contest will get a special ZOE SCOTT GIFT PACK! This includes a T-Shirt, my CD "Beautiful to Be Alive", a limited
edition copy of my new single "Hard Habit" and a special surprise!

Here is how you may participate in this contest:

1. Go to iTunes and download my song, Hard Habit: www.itunes.com/zoescott/hardhabit-single
2. Listen to the song and do your best to memorize those lyrics!
3. Arrive at the Whiskey at 10pm, look for the ladies in the pink t-shirts and sing my song, with no music or printed lyrics to help you!

Whoever gets the farthest along in the song with all the correct lyrics will be our lucky winner!

Don't worry about singing on key, just have loads of fun! Oh, and be sure to SMILE because you will all be on camera!

The winner and the top ten runners up will each get one free drink plus free admission to the party!
