What exactly are the requirements for being labeled a "maverick"? I don't recall Jon Voight doing anything unique to earn that title - yet FOX has arbitrarily declared him a "maverick".
It seems that the title "maverick" is being thrown around rather loosely. It kind of devalues the term.
