VAI Procedure - Sheep Vaginal Artificial Inseminiation Technique

This video was taken during a workshop to learn how to inseminate a sheep using the Vaginal Artificial Insemination (VAI) technique. The workshop was held in Minnesota, the participants came from all parts of the U.S. and Canada. The instructors of the technique are Icelanders who developed and teach the technique in Iceland and the U.S. The sheep involved in this series of videos are Icelandic sheep, and were not harmed, nor are they harmed in this type of insemination.

This video shows a sheep being inseminated by a participant of the workshop and the Dr of Veterinary Medicine who developed the technique.
