Ondoy: Surveying the Damage in Marikina 3

The damage was done by Typhoon Ondoy(Ketsana) last September 26, 2009 whereas this footage was taken 4 days after. This is another footage of the very famous Provident Village, one of the worst hit areas. As we can see, this is a upper class subdivision swept by flood waters that rose to the level of telephone wires. We even saw a school bag hanging up a post. Many lives perished here.

This footage was taken during a relief operation of the Marikina City Government through a volunteer youth organization, namely, Kabataang Bayaning Filipino (Ka-BF).
