Ron Paul to Congress - "We Owe 1.6 Trillion To The Federal Reserve.. But That's Not Real Debt!!"

whether you like him or not. Dr. Paul's penchant for publicly speaking unmitigated truth is amazing to me! In this address to Congress he makes a statement that should stir the hearts & minds of everyone in this country. Essentially stating; that we can do a very simple thing and still stay within the constraints of the law, that is to stop paying the interest on the money that we supposedly "owe" to the entity known as the "Federal Reserve", which stands at a whopping 1.6 Trillion Dollars. Speaking such words publicly has potentially dangerous side effects when dealing with these type of powerful men who comprise the private society known as the Federal Reserve. Dr. Paul elaborates by stating the fact that the Federal Reserve purchased our Treasury Bills etc with money that they "printed out of thin air" thus our lawful obligation to pay it back is tenuous at best since it very clearly defies the definition of a "loan". He makes the case, if we stopped payments on this ostensible "debt" that we could then begin to see the light of day economically. Hmmm, how many have walked into court valiantly (or foolishly) stating the very same thing with respect to their mortgage, where the bank risks and loans absolutely nothing of value! However, here's the real question to ask: WHY HAVEN'T OUR SITTING PRESIDENTS EVALUATED AND PROPOSED THIS AS THE SINGULAR VIABLE SOLUTION TO OUR NOW HORRIFIC ECONOMIC CRISIS?! The answer is painfully obvious to those who are truly paying attention and who aren't thoroughly immersed with "American Idol" and the Jennifer Lopez's divorce etc etc... the answer can be summed up with one word, these men are filled with: "FEAR". But, who or what in the world could men who hold the highest office in the Free World be afraid of? TIME TO WAKE UP AMERICA! Apparently, there is a higher, more powerful office our Presidents answer to. My prayer is that God continue to protect and keep Dr. Paul safe from harm because he is a lone voice crying in an evil wilderness! -kcc
