This isn't a magic document, it's flawed and pretty silly in some places. Under your constitution, Sarah Palin is eligible, Michael Palin is not - there's no need for further evidence.

It's not 1776, and the constitution has been ammended over 25 times since.

@superhamzah85 It's in place as a safety net to guard the United States from foreign enemies as best as possible in their vision of a free society.

The constitution is a covenant between the founders as the fundamental foundation for governance and the most basic rights of man. They are to preserved and protected, not turned against and butchered by it's own people.

Dumb rule - whoever is a citizen of the country, and best for the job. If no other job takes into account what bit of dirt you were spat on out of your moms vagina, then why why does the Presidential role require it?

The Constitution was written with common sense, it was invented, it is not a holy text.
