Why our story is not about religion, but how to love Jesus

The meaning of life - What on earth are we doing here? Is there purpose to the madness? Is religion nothing more than man's way to fill an empty space inside? Can there be more? Dare we dream of having a love relationship with God? Not us loving and finding Him, but He reaching down and embracing us? This is a love story. The dream... About a new moon. About a new day. The story of having it all, then falling from grace and losing all. A nobody with nothing at all. Unforgivable. An all time low. Forever. And yet somehow, being given all back again. The story to highlight true worship.The why, how, where & when. You see, there is a big difference between Jesus and false religion. In the scriptures Jesus received the most opposition from the most religious people of his day. At it's core Jesus' gospel and the good news of the Cross is in pure opposition to self-righteousness/self-justification. Religion is man centered, Jesus is God-centered. This poem highlights my journey to discover this truth. Religion either ends in pride or despair. Pride because you make a list and can do it and act better than everyone, or despair because you can't do your own list of rules and feel "not good enough" for God. With Jesus though you have humble confident joy because He represents you, you don't represent yourself and His sacrifice is perfect putting us in perfect standing with God! This is it. Sweet dreams... you are not alone.

wow! this really touched my heart. Especally portrayed through a childs eyes. Its too bad we cant have the hearts of children and end all the hate, suffering and war. Beautiful video. One of the best I have seen in a while.

This is sad to watch. It is also sad to see the brain washing of the sheeples and the flagrant falsehoods all religions promulgate. All religions are only about control and money and hold all people back spiritually. People are waking up rapidly!

What is REALLY sad, dear one, is that you are exactly missing the point (and I do wonder whether you watched the whole film?) Because ALL RELIGION is man's foolish attempts to appease a guilty conscience and a nagging fear of death, while Father is inviting us into a RELATIONSHIP! What incredible grace! Not control, not wanting your money, but freely giving it all through His Son Jesus Christ! That's reason for singing and celebrating. That is what's real in this broken, very deceived world.

I love it! You have no idea how much I needed to find the love of Jesus in a video.. I don't know how to explain it, but you have truly portrait that love and I am deeply moved.. I was like that little child searching for love in others, knowing that I was created by God to be loved. Growing up in a dark world was shattering enough for me, but when God brought me back to His loving arms, when He showed me Jesus Who is the Son of the Living God, I was never the same again.

@Phych101 All religion is false but Jesus Christ is Lord of all and every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lordl It will happen at the Great White Throne Judgment when He looks to see if your name is written in The Lamb's Book of Life and if it is not, you will spend eternity separated from God in a place of torment.
