Does shifting the center of mass forward by elevating the heels change the effect mostly through reducing the stretch on the hamstrings and gastrocs somewhat while leaving the stretch at the hip untouched?
Perhaps I just overly associated heels elevated movements with quad activity from squats, but just trying out a few quick bodyweight good mornings with heels elevated demonstrated what a shift in stress this imparts toward the glute ham tie in.

think you answered your own question there mate. Shouldn;t be much "quad activity' in a move executed that way, regardless of heel position

FD, well hope you get a lot out of them now. Good movement when done correctly. But like any movement, only as good as the program that contains it.
