  • It's been so long sense I have looked at my own video and noticed all the comments! I didn't have much time to show every form of tie method and would have preferred to do so. The Mei Tai can go up to 35lbs!! My daughter is now 3.5yrs old and 33lbs and because i have been wearing her for so long it feels like her weight has not increased at all :) Yes some carrier's come with a more supportive hood for infants. The hip carry can be tied in more ways. Thank you! Website is down for now :(

  • What a trooper Momma!!!! I have been wanting to find a carrier for newborn and up to 2 or 3 years. I believe I found it! What a great video. Thanks so much for posting this!!

  • Your daughter is so cute! And it is such a great demonstration! Thank you for making this video! :-)

  • Thank you for posting this! The clearest Mei Tai-instruction video I've seen. I just bought my first MT, and can't wait to carry my son!

  • Real life is nice to see. Good job!

  • she is soo cute, and her balky ! cute, cute!

  • I was wondering what is the max weight on this carrier? I have a child that hates to walk and am trying to find something to make my life a little easier

  • In a traditional MT you can fold the upper bit of the body down a bit so it supports the baby's head.

Some MT's got straps on it so you can tie it on the shoulderstraps, That way you can support little baby's head, but it's also a nice support for the head of a sleeping toddler.

  • The newborn carry left the baby's head all floppy - there was no support for it. What to do about this?
