Louisiana's favorite confused politician, John Kennedy, tried to squeeze into the recovery picture following Hurricane Gustav, hoping voters would forget that he suggested vetoing nearly $1.5 million for hurricane equipment and first responders in 2006. Thankfully, his misguided suggestions were not heeded.
