Massey Ferguson 3545 with fuel turned up 1 whole turn

Massey Ferguson 3545, after I turned the fuel up 1 full turn on the Lucas CAV injection pump. Has an inline 6 cylinder 354 Perkins Turbocharged Charge Cooled engine, and a 3.5" straight pipe installed. Turbocharger can be heard much better now too, and you can see the shadow cast on the shop from the black smoke it now spits out.

sounds kinda doggy. you should put the govenor spring in the top slot. it will make it more responsive

i drive the same thing in Australia great tractor we use her for offsetting and all types of implements great tractor especially with the straight pipe

Have you noticed if the tractor starts easier since you've turned up the pump? We have a 2705 (the 3545 replaced the 2705) and it's always been a bastard to start if it's a little chilly. We don't dare park it an extension cords lenght from a plug in.
