राजू परुळेकर - मनसेच्या स्थापनेनंतर अनेक अटकळी बांधल्या जात होत्या. मराठी माणसाच्या हक्कांसाठी आवाज उठविण्याची नांदी तुम्ही परत एकदा केली. शिवसेनेनंतर परत असे करावे, ही वेळ तुमच्यावर का आली?

राज ठाकरे - शिवसेनेत असताना रेल्वे नोकऱ्यांत बिहारींच्या विरोधात मी आंदोलन केले होते. जगाला हेवा वाटेल, असा महाराष्ट्र माझ्या हातून घडावा; पण तो घडलेला महाराष्ट्र कोणाच्या घशात घालायचा आहे? मराठी माणसाच्या वाट्याला ती प्रगती येत नसेल, तर ती काय करायची? त्यासाठी साफसफाई पहिली व प्रगती नंतर असे मी ठरविले. कितीही करीत राहिलात, तरी परप्रांतीयांचे लोंढे या सगळ्या गोष्टी खाऊन टाकतात.

नेमके कोणत्या मुद्‌द्‌यांवर हे आंदोलन जाणार आहे?
सगळेच मुद्दे समोर येत आहेत. स्थानिकांना नोकऱ्यांत ८० टक्के प्राधान्य हे आहेच; पण प्रवेशापासून हे सर्व सुरू होते. तेथे स्थानिकांना प्रवेश न देता परप्रांतीयांना प्रवेश देत असाल, तर स्थानिक मुलांनी जायचे कुठे? इथपासून सर्व सुरू होते.

गरीब बिचारे पोटासाठी येतात. त्यांच्यावर तुमचा राग का?
मुलायमसिंह यादव, लालूप्रसाद यादव, मायावती येथे येतात, तेव्हा तेच गरीब बिचारे त्यांच्या सभेसाठी जातात. राजकीय ध्रुवीकरण या माध्यमातून होते, त्याकडे बघणार आहोत की नाही? मुंबई महापालिकेत किती उपरे नगरसेवक आहेत? कोणत्याही राज्यात असे नाही. तेच उद्या पुणे, नाशिक, ठाणे येथेही होणार आहे.

भारतीय संविधानाने कोणालाही कुठेही जायला परवानगी दिली आहे...
महाराष्ट्रातील जे कायदे आहेत, त्यांची अंमलबजावणी नीट झाली, तर हे प्रश्‍न येणार नाहीत. मराठी पाट्यांचा मुद्दा मी मांडला. तो कायदा आहे. कायद्याची अंमलबजावणी होत नाही. सिक्‍युरिटी एजन्सीबाबत कायदा आहे, की एका एजन्सीने पाचपेक्षा अधिक परप्रांतीयांना नोकरीत ठेवले, तर त्यांना कायदेशीर तरतुदींनुसार वेगळी परवानगी घ्यावी लागते. याचे पालन कुठेही होताना दिसत नाही. भूमिपुत्रांना ८० टक्के नोकऱ्या मिळाल्या पाहिजेत, असा महाराष्ट्राचा कायदा आहे.

भाजप, कॉंग्रेस, शिवसेना या पक्षांत बरेच उत्तर भारतीय आहेत. सर्व पक्षांनी हे कल्चर महाराष्ट्रात स्वीकारले आहे. हा मुद्दा राजकीय भवितव्य निर्माण करणार आहे. तो पुढे नेणार की मागे?
मराठी माणसाचे अस्तित्व हे माझ्या दृष्टीने महत्त्वाचे आहे. प्रत्येक गोष्ट नगरसेवक, आमदार, खासदार या गोष्टींवरून तपासून घ्यायची, असे नाही. गुजरातची निवडणूक गुजरातच्या स्वाभिमानाच्या मुद्‌द्‌यावर झाली. नरेंद्र मोदी हिंदुत्व विसरून गेले व हा मुद्दा त्यांनी लावून धरला. बाकीची राज्ये स्वतःची भाषा व मुद्‌द्‌यांवर निवडणूक लढवितात. आपल्याकडचे पिचक्‍या पाठ-कण्याचे आहेत. साडेदहा- अकरा कोटींच्या महाराष्ट्रात साडेआठ-पावणेनऊ कोटी मराठी जनता राहते, ती तुम्हाला महत्त्वाची वाटत नाही आणि दीड-पावणेदोन कोटी परप्रांतीय महत्त्वाचे वाटतात?

I agree what Raj is saying but there are inherant and structural problems in Maharashtra. Until and unless the dominance of Gujjus,Marwaris and Sindhis is broken others are not a problem. And as long as congress the "cancer of Marathis" remains in the power it will be difficult. BJP is Bharitya Joonta Party. So the will do everything to undermine Marathis. Lest start from Mumbai,Thana and Pune. And pls stop Ambanis adventures in mega projects. They are not good for Marathis.

First of all we should give subsidized land to any minority (parochial) schools. Second, in return for any subsidy, there should reservations in the school for marathi people. If they want to spread their regional cultures let them buy land/electricity/water at market prices.

Finally, every school in Maharashtra should offer Marathi class not as an option but mandatory.

i may not be a maharashtrian, but being a student in maharashtra for the past 3 years, i will totally agree what mr. raj thackeray has expressed. In fact, even i have learnt the language out of respect for the land where i am right now. i may still be learning the language, but i have learnt it enough to speak to the public in marathi. There is nothing wrong in preserving one's culture. After all, if these people will not protect their own culture, who will? Mr Raj thackeray has won my respect.

whether you support any political party but All maharashtrians we must come together for marathi issues. guys I have observed that hindi media has always been biased on maharahstras issue. They will never understand marathi language and the ground reality. I apeal all of you to ban hindi news channels. Raj thakre may be of any political party but his ideas are absolutely right.
