  • Hyperdrive was nothing like Red Dwarf and fans of that show who tuned in expecting to be similar spolit the shows reputation by bad mouthing it before it had time to build up its own fanbase. Its more like Star Trek meets the Office and its all the better for that IMO. Superb production funny storylines superb writing acting. Every episode.s a winner. Please bring it back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Witty and amusing. All the better for NOT having canned laughter!

  • God this show was beyond awful.

  • needs SLIGHTLY better writing but ok

  • Has anyone seen the American version of Red Dwarf? Embarrassing at the least!!

    Fucking pathetic at most...

  • its not red dwarf, but it will do.

    lol i love patriotic mode.

  • Not perfect, but a lot better than most of the rubbish that passes for comedy in our benighted age. Plus I really have a thing for Miranda Hart....

  • Maybe learn to spell 'bastard' and then tell me what to do eh?

Maybe people can actually value your opinions if you put them accross in a non-hostile manner

  • Many friends say its a Red Dwarf kind of series yet I agree with you. Nothing like Red Dwarf.

  • If anything, this series isn't a copy of Red Dwarf, it's more a parody of Star Trek-style science fiction, of the type preferred by a lot of Americans. I thought the series had some good moments, and who doesn't love Nick Frost, but Red Dwarf it is not. Still, it's a pity that it wasn't continued at least one more season: it was just hitting its stride in Series 2, and I thought they had some of their best stuff in there. Pity. I'd like to see Nick keep on working...he's gotta eat, y'know.
