Watching the end, I just realized how sad it is that this is the closest Steve Carell came to winning an Emmy for "The Office".

    Fail, Emmys.

When Charlie Sheen gives you the "dafaq you doin' Steven" look, you know you have some comedic gold.

It is telling how the majority of the Hollywood audience just sit there confused as Jon and Stephen go on with the bit a little deeper. Their heads are so far up their own and each other's asses they no longer acknowledge, comprehend or recognize shame or humility but rather mistake them for pity and condescension for and towards others. I love all people, I really do. But I'm not saying an extra prayer after that particular big earthquake. Not for those people.

I watch this right after watching the videos of Rickey Gravais hosting Golden Glboes and Emmys and compared to that, who the hell are these two guys?

Michael Scott took Ricky gervais character to a whole another level the two aren't even comparable British and american comedy are entirely different and the majority of how Michael Scott was portrayed was fashioned by Ricky himself. Ricky is the reason is us counterpart character worked so well.

I understand what you're saying as well. And yes I do agree with you. I might've underrated him.

I agree with you when it comes to Baldwin and Parsons, who I find as funny as cancerous tumours - but can you really award someone for taking a character that was already well established and then Americanizing it?
