His Dark Heart [A Supernatural Jemi Story] Ep. 4 - Falling For You Again

A blonde boy, with short spiked hair was looking straight at me. I looked at him and couldnt take my eyes off of him.

I had a crush on him since 6th grade, but gave up freshmen year when he went out with Miley. Have you ever experienced the feeling when the person you love most is making out with one of your friends? Your close friend Yeah it hurts. I gave up on love ever since then.

Sure, now and then boys did hit on me, but I ignored them. Im not looking for lust- they are. I want someone to love me for me. Then Ill be ready. I think.

But with him I felt something. He led me on but I- I dont know. Quickly, I shifted my eyes to the ground and turned around.

I looked back at Miley. "Is it okay?" I asked pleading and smiling at the same time. It was a stupid question, but I had to ask.

Her brunette head bobbed with excitement. "Of course! Our Demi is gonna get her first boyfriend! And besides Im with Logan now. Im very content." She said and winked.

I saw Selenas face drop. She must be feeling horrible.

Logan was the boy she had fell hard for and still does. What I dont get is that she has a boyfriend. Logan deserves her, but so does David. Theyre like the perfect couple and Im always getting jealous of her. He sends her flowers every time shes feeling horrible and makes her laugh at the randomest times.

"Thanks," I said back.

Taylor took a sip from her water bottle and spoke. "I knew you like liked him," she said.

Like-like my ass. I loved him. And at this moment, I wanted him here with me. To comfort me. I didnt know him that much (besides in 7th and 8th grade where we spoke only if there was work to do or projects) but he once made me feel better when I was crying. All I knew is that he played guitar and was the man of my dreams. Sigh.

What am I saying? I need to visit reality sometimes.

"Hey guys." David said going past me towards Selena. "Love," and smiled at her.
She smiled back and hugged him but was looking at Logan playing football on the field.

"Demi watch out!" Logan's angelic voice called. Of course, me being me, I was too late to watch out.
I turned around and the last thing I saw before I hit the ground was a brown colored object moving straight at my face.
The football hit my face and I fell down. "Ouch!"

"Oh my God! Demi!? Are you okay?" Miley asked grabbing my hands to pick me up. "LOGAN!! Im going to kill you!"
And you know what happened?

She freaking dropped me.

Thus making me fall again. "Shit! Miley!" I yelled as I hit the ground. I got up and noticed she couldn't hear me.

She was too busy chasing Logan, but then he stopped and turned around making her fall into his arms. He hugged her not letting go and whispered something in her ear.

I was feeling horrible for my best friend.

"Hey," a familiar voice said, coming up behind me.

I turned around and tripped over someones bag. But hey! Remember me? Im Demi. That is not all that happened.

I grabbed onto the boys shirt and fell the other way, making him fall on top of me.

His face was so close to mines so so SO close. My heart stopped beating when he smiled. He was looking right into my eyes. I was forced to stare at his, a deep blue/gray color. About fifty butterflies were trying to break free from my stomach right now.

"If thats your way of saying hey, then Ill take it." Cody said smiling.
I couldnt help but smile. After realizing that I looked like an idiot, I stopped. "I do have a rep as the school klutz."
"Cliché."
"In a way- are we going to remain in this position for long? Cause I-" he cut me off.
"Oops, sorry Demi."
He said my name! How did he remember? Cody got up off me and helped lift me up.
I smiled at him. "Thank you."
He smiled, "Anytime."
"Well then I guess I better get into the school. People are starting to arrive. Ill see you around." I turned to leave.
"Yeah bye."
Oh God. Oh God. I messed it all up.

"Oh and hey, Demi?" he asked.
I stopped and turned around. "Yeah?"
"You wanna hang out after the game today?" he asked.

SCORE!

I nodded and walked to class smiling.
