The U. N. had little or no ability to accurately measure anything the Taliban were doing.

It's so fun that there are folks like you who see the UN as some kind of objective source.

All this means nothing, really, because the U. S. does not dictate to Afghan farmers what they can cultivate, and the Taliban slaughter anyone not doing their bidding.
