I can't believe your flying field is so close to those houses! never would work where I am....I have the same aircraft, a 3W 106 is more than ample power, the thing will go vertical forever if you let it.

That is the smoothest flying geebee ive ever seen .. either this guy knows how to switch rates in flight or hes got the velvet touch .. even the landing was smooth .. this thing bounces on landing and is very pitch sensitive in flight .. the perfect selection of prop to weight and motor .. a fantastic job .. have not seen any better in mant travels.. i wont ask you for your combination ,but its noteworthy to say that you have got it covered .difficult plane to fly.. I rarely see a Gee Bee fly that well. Sweet sound. Nice flying. Great landing considering it's a barrel with fins. Nice job Rich. You got it dialed in.
