My band played the first song Psyco last year in our field show. Along with Thriller, Tocatta and Fugue, and Night on Bald mountain.

@metallician2 ...The band is not there for the football games. They are there for their time on the field. The law of band is to educate, then to entertain. The education must come first and foremost and with the mass produced music they have today, there is no challenge for the musicians. They play this type of stuff for their education as musicians, because that's what band is REALLY about.

no longer are bands providing motivational music for football games....its all become a circus ole....lots of flash....lots of talent...crappy music

where is the rest of the band? i graduated from Kirby in 1990 and union city's band was always a joy to watch because it was like 200 strong.... what has happened??

im not sure the school really isnt that big so im guessing thats why
the school i go to obion county used to have right at 200 and we have dropped down alot also to like 70 people
but union city has had the same band director for since the late 80s
