Paul Reed Smith Angelus.

  • @turockandar heh, I hear ye. I play a good ol' Tanglewood, nice medium-range acoustic. Would love to own one of these one day, but the Tanglewood is a sturdy old beauty :-) I might have a serious look at the SE version of the Angelus though, sounds really well and retails for only about ~600-700 as I understand it.

  • @Azunaii Yes I take your point but still I would wait a while to see if they have a retail value on the world market. I own an Eric Clapton Martin and am in love with its sound. Before I had a Lowden which, although good, did not suit my playing style as well..to each their own and keep on rocking the ...hum.....recession-hit and debt ridden reeling world.

  • @turockandar True it's PRS' first venture into acoustics. But people rely on what they know about the production process and quality control they are used to from PRS' electric guitars, which has always been up to incredibly high standards. Based on that, some are willing to take the leap :-) From what I've heard (and experienced, I played a few at the PRS Benelux experience last year) so far, these are very well built acoustics.

  • @turockandar Probably because they like the Paul Reed Smith better?

  • Here is my question why would anyone spend this amount of money for an instrument which does not yet have brand name recognition in acoustics rather than say buy a Martin?

  • @emiliovelezmusic that sounds like the kind of job im looking for haha

  • @thefuturevoice Well, when in doubt, get a job at Guitar Center. Through them, I get a 50% discount on Breedlove Customs, and I'm currently on my way to having (in my opinion) a much nicer guitar than this built - to MY specs! (:D) - for about 3/4 the price.

  • @thefuturevoice take a look at the SE acoustics PRS just came out with...

  • @thefuturevoice true dat bro!

  • To be honest I'd get a Sobell anyday.
