One of the best if not the best skills in the game is the ability to add homing attack to the classic sonic. It lets you jump further, makings killing enemies a breeze, home in on springs and other objects just like modern sonic.

To get this ability you have to find and collect all 5 of the red star rings hidden throughout the Planet Wisp stage with classic sonic.

They are pretty easy to find with the help of a tutorial like this, but without one yeah it can take a while, so for those of you who need a little helping hand I put together this tutorial for you.

  • Do you think this game is worth it?

  • @Illmatic662 I like the game, but I would buy it when its on super sale not full price unless your in a hurry to play it.

  • @ViciousXUSMC I was actually thinking of getting it on 360 or PS3, I mean I have all three consoles but I think the Gamepad is too addicting. However, the price of this game on STEAM might be too tempting...

  • @Illmatic662 You do know that the 360 controller is fully PC compatible right? That is how I was playing.

  • @ViciousXUSMC I actually am aware, but now I am surprised because I did not know this game on PC would be 360 compatible with the controller. I know there are a lot of games out there the the 360 controller would not work with. I still have to play New Vegas and Witcher Directors Cut on STEAM which I bought a long time ago. Im glad that this uses the controller, I might just have to wait for this one to go on sale.....

  • @Illmatic662 Yeah pretty much any game on 360 and PC has native 360 controls on PC, and definitely all games for windows live titles support the controller. Any games that do not support a controller as long as they are setup in a way that is ideal for controller use you can just use 3rd party tools like xpadder to get the job done.

I prefer keyboard & mouse for most games, but platformer is one of the few that its a must for a controller.
